Lawn Care Pricing

Our starting price per visit depends on your lot size.

• Up to 0.25 acre: $60 per visit

• Over 0.25 up to 0.33 acre: $65 per visit

• Over 0.33 up to 0.50 acre: $75 per visit

• Over 0.50 up to 0.66 acre: $80 per visit

• Over 0.66 up to 0.75 acre: $85 per visit

• Over 0.75 up to 1.00 acre: $90 per visit

• Over 1.00 up to 1.25 acres: $95 per visit

• Over 1.25 up to 1.50 acres: $110 per visit

• Over 1.50 up to 1.75 acres: $160 per visit

• Over 1.75 up to 2.00 acres: $180 per visit

How lot sizes are priced: A lot smaller than 0.25 acre is priced at the 0.25-acre rate. A lot that is even slightly larger than a size moves up to the next price. For example, a 0.26-acre lot is priced in the 0.33-acre group.

These are starting prices. The final price can be higher based on location, terrain, or overgrowth, and we always tell you before locking in your rate. Larger lots take more time and equipment, so prices rise more at the bigger sizes.

We confirm lot size using county Property Appraiser records, so pricing stays consistent and fair for every customer.

Price lock: If you are an existing customer, your rate is locked for the calendar year as long as you keep your regular route slot. If service is paused for more than 45 consecutive days, the lock ends and we quote you at our current rates. We give at least 30 days' notice before any rate change.

What we charge, what every visit includes, and how we work, so there are no surprises.

What Every Visit Includes

Every visit includes mowing, edging, weed whacking, and blowing debris off hard surfaces like driveways and walkways.

• Economy option: A lower-cost tier is available on request. It does not include edging or debris blowing.

• Grass clumping: Our crews work to minimize clumping, but some is natural when grass is tall or wet from morning dew, so we cannot guarantee a clump-free lawn on every visit.

• Clippings: We do not bag clippings, because our commercial zero-turn mowers are not built for bagging. Clippings or organic debris removal is a premium add-on starting at $250 for a 0.25-acre lot, scaling up with property size and debris volume.

• Cut height: We cut at the height that is healthy for your turf. A shorter cut is available for an added charge, since it takes longer and strains our equipment.

• Flower beds: We lightly blow stray clippings out of beds. We avoid high-powered blowing into beds, because it scatters mulch and landscape rock.

Additional Services and Rates

These services are priced separately from your base visit. Text us a photo of your project for a free quote.

• Bush and hedge shaping: From $15 per bush. Removes overgrowth and restores clean lines.

• Plant shaping and trimming: $20 per tree or bush, $60 minimum.

• Low-limb tree trimming: $20 per tree, $60 minimum. Up to 12 ft high, limbs 3 in or less.

• Tree and brush removal: Under 4 ft is $75 minimum. 4 to 8 ft is $200 per tree. No large trees or work that needs climbing gear or cranes.

• Gutter cleaning: $1 per linear foot, $100 minimum.

• Building soft wash: $1.50 per linear foot, $200 minimum.

• Concrete and driveway cleaning: $0.36 per square foot, $200 minimum.

• Fence washing: $10 per panel, $120 minimum.

• Storm and hurricane cleanup: From $150 per truckload. Covers small branches, palm fronds, and storm debris. No large downed trees that need heavy chainsaw work or cranes.

• Debris or sod haul-away on project jobs: $80 per truckload.

For all pressure washing, please provide an active water hose hookup at the property.

Planting new plants, by pot size

• Small (2 to 4 in pot): $20 each, $100 minimum

• Medium (5 to 8 in pot): $30 each, $150 minimum

• Large (9 to 12 in pot): $45 each, $150 minimum

• Extra large (12 to 18 in pot): $75 each, $150 minimum

Schedule and Routing

Pay-as-you-go accounts follow our standard routes so we can keep every neighborhood on a reliable rotation.

• Summer (March 1 to October 31): every other week.

• Winter (November 1 to the end of February): once a month. Ask us if you would like to stay on a more frequent schedule.

• Route days: We assign your day by neighborhood routing, and it stays fixed. We cannot make week-to-week day changes.

• Skipped visits: If a visit is skipped, your lawn is not serviced again until your next scheduled route date. In summer that is a 4-week gap, and an overgrowth surcharge may apply to bring the lawn back to normal condition.

• Custom schedules: Need a specific weekly cadence or a locked-in winter frequency? Ask about our 12-month contract.

Roof Services

We offer two roof services, and you can book either one on its own.

• Roof blowing: We clear leaves, pine needles, and debris from your roof with a low-powered blower that is gentle on shingles. Text us a photo for a quote.

• Roof repair cleanup: After roofing work, we blow leftover debris off the roof and sweep your yard, driveway, and landscaping with a magnetic pusher to pick up stray nails, screws, and construction debris. The magnet sweep starts at $75. If you also want the roof blown off, text us a photo and we will quote the job.

A stray nail in the driveway can mean a flat tire or a hurt pet, so a sweep after repairs is worth it.

Contracts and Pay-Ahead

Want a locked-in schedule instead of pay-as-you-go? Choose a 3, 6, or 12-month contract. Each tier includes everything in the one before it.

• 3 months: Locked seasonal pricing, regular email or text reminders, and a dedicated account manager.

• 6 months: Everything in 3 months, plus 1 free service after the 6 months are complete and priority scheduling for 1 emergency service.

• 12 months: Everything in 6 months, plus 2 free services in total (one at month 6, one at month 12) and annual discounts on seasonal cleanups, holiday light installation, garden bed maintenance, and tree trimming.

Fixed contracts require 30 days' written notice to end.

Pay-ahead: Residential and commercial clients can pay for a full season up front. Services covered by a completed pay-ahead plan will not see extra charges or rate increases.

Commercial accounts: Payment is due 15 to 30 days from the invoice date, as stated in your commercial contract. Late fees apply automatically after that, and we cannot waive them.

Estimates, Deposits, and Hours

• Free estimates: Every estimate is free. Text a photo of your yard or project, along with the property address, to (352) 816-0418 for a fast quote. We do not provide same-day service on the day of an estimate, so your crew is properly equipped and you have time to prepare. If a same-day estimate is not available, we schedule it within 24 to 48 hours.

• Property address required: We need the address of the property to give you a quote, and a photo alone is not enough. We use the address to confirm the lot size and location through county Property Appraiser records, so our pricing stays accurate and fair, and so we only quote real properties for the people who have a right to request service. We cannot give a quote without the property address.

• Deposits: Specialized, landscaping, and large jobs over $500 require a 25% deposit before work begins.

• Quotes: A project quote is good for 30 days. We are not bound to a quote until you sign it and pay the deposit, and it covers only the services listed on it.

• Project timing and balance: We complete project jobs within 21 days of the deposit. At least half of the total, deposit included, is due at completion, and the rest is due within 14 days.

• Office hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Eastern. We are closed Saturday and Sunday.

• After hours: We do not take calls or texts after 5:00 PM. Anything that comes in is answered the next business day, in the order received.

• Saturdays: Saturday work is available for special projects only, and scheduling and payment must be arranged ahead of time.

Yard and Property Rules

A few simple rules keep our crew safe and your property protected.

• Dogs and other pets: We will not mow or enter a yard where a dog of any size is loose, tied up, leashed, or in a fenced part of the yard we would be servicing. The dog must be secured behind a closed door inside the home, garage, or another fully enclosed area. If a dog is out when we arrive, we skip the visit, and it is treated like any skipped service. Repeat visits like this may carry a trip fee, so please text us before your service day if anything changes.

• Gates: We unlock your gate, then relock it with the same standard latch or lock after service. We are not responsible for added reinforcements such as boards, blocks, or bungee cords. If your gate needs special handling, tell our office in advance.

• Toys and play structures: We mow around loose toys and carefully line-trim around the base of fixed play structures.

• Fire pits: We do not enter or mow inside fire pit areas surrounded by logs, benches, or firewood. They can hide debris and snakes, and lighters or lighter fluid are a fire risk around hot equipment.

• Outdoor furniture: We do not move chairs, benches, or tables. If you want turf mowed around a seating or dining area, please move loose pieces before service day.

• Trampolines and canopies: We do not mow or drive equipment underneath them, because hidden stakes and tie-downs can catch on our equipment.

• Yard decor: We trim as close as we safely can, but we are not responsible for wear or damage from contact with commercial cutting equipment. Please move fragile items away from turf edges.

• Plants and beds: We aim mower discharge away from beds whenever possible, but we are not responsible for minor broken limbs or stray clippings from normal mowing.

• Stinging insects: If a crew member is stung, we stop work and step away for at least 30 minutes. After that, we treat the nest with commercial spray and finish your service. We neutralize nests but do not remove them from structures or trees. A $10 hazard fee applies per nest or swarm treated, and we photograph each one. If you would rather we not spray, we leave that area unserviced, finish the rest where it is safe, and invoice for the work completed. We cannot resume regular service until the hazard is cleared and our office confirms it is safe.

• Staying clear: For everyone's safety, please keep clear of our crew while they work, and do not touch or enter our trailer or other company property.

Quality Concerns and Damage Reports

Every crew member completes training and an onboarding review before working on their own. Our crews wear company uniforms and arrive in clearly marked company vehicles.

• Service quality: Grass height can look different day to day with rain, sun, and temperature, so please report a concern within 24 hours of the visit. That lets us verify what we left behind, and we are glad to make it right when something is off.

• Property damage: If you believe a visit caused damage, contact our office within 12 hours of service completion. We inspect quickly and work in good faith to resolve valid claims. Later claims are still reviewed but can be harder to verify.

• Who to contact: Please call or text our office rather than raising a concern with the crew on site. Management handles it directly with the team, which keeps our crews focused and safe.

If a Crew Member Is Injured on Your Property

Our crew's safety comes first. If a B&D crew member is injured while working at a property, we end service with that client.

This policy applies to every client, whatever the cause of the injury and whether or not anyone is at fault. It protects both you and B&D from a conflict of interest. After an injury, a client can feel pressure or responsibility, and a crew member can feel uncomfortable coming back to the property. Neither is a fair position to be in, and ending service lets everyone move forward without tension.

• First, care: The injured crew member gets medical attention right away. We may pause or end that day's visit early so they can get it.

• Billing: You are invoiced only for the work completed that day. Any balance already owed stays due.

• Prepaid visits: Prepaid visits we did not complete are refunded or credited to your account, your choice.

• Contracts: No early-cancellation charge applies when B&D is the one ending service.

• Notice: We let you know in writing that service has ended.

Payment

Payment is due within 14 calendar days of service, or before your next scheduled visit, whichever comes first.

• Late fees: A flat $50 late fee applies to any balance unpaid after 15 days, plus $10 per day after that until it is paid in full. We may pause future service until balances, including late fees, are settled.

• Electronic: CashApp, Zelle, Venmo, PayPal, or card through our secure payment link.

• Cash: Please text our manager right away so your payment is credited to your account.

• Checks: Make checks payable to B&D Lawn Maintenance, LLC. Work does not begin or resume until a check has cleared.

• Contracts and e-checks: Email b.dlawnmaintenancellc@gmail.com.

Firewood and Furniture Delivery

We also haul firewood and furniture from thrift stores, appliance centers, and local suppliers. These services are paid for directly by you.

• Firewood trip, within 15 miles of our service areas: $100 flat.

• Firewood, half bed loaded and unloaded: $220 total.

• Firewood, full bed loaded and unloaded: $300 total.

• Furniture delivery, 0 to 15 miles: $50 flat.

• Furniture delivery, 15 to 30 miles: $85 flat.

• Furniture delivery, 30+ miles: $85 plus $2 per mile.

Firewood rates include loading by hand at the source and unloading at your home.

• Size limit: Items must fit within 8 ft long, 4 ft wide, and 6 ft high, and be a single piece or a simple set. Large or heavy items may carry an added labor fee if no one helps at pickup or drop-off.

• Your preparation: Please clear paths, empty items, and check that the piece fits through your doorways. If it does not fit, we leave it outside, under a carport, or in a shed, and you take on liability for it from that point.

• Safety gear: Our crew keeps safety shoes and protective gear on while lifting heavy items into a building. If entry is refused for that reason, the item is left outside and the delivery is complete.

• No refunds: We are a delivery service, not a retailer or moving company. Returns are settled with the store. If we haul an item back to a store, the return delivery fee is due up front.

Account Verification, Privacy, and Legal

• Property verification: Lawn care scams on vacant, listed, and rental properties are common, so we check new requests against public property appraiser records. If the owner lives outside our area, or a tenant requests service alone, we ask for one of these: a current utility bill showing the service address, a government-issued ID matching the property address, or the first and last signed pages of a valid lease. Whoever books service is responsible for payment. We review every document carefully. If a document looks altered or falsified, or does not match public records, we decline service and may block the contact. We may also decline or cancel service for anyone unwilling to complete verification.

• Privacy: Documents you provide are used only to confirm your right to authorize service. We do not sell or share them, we keep them only as long as needed, and we then securely delete them. You can ask us to remove what we have on file.

• Safety and security: We may block contact numbers that give false information or send scam or spam messages.

• Cancellation: You can cancel or pause pay-as-you-go service anytime by contacting our office, with no penalty. See the price lock note above about pauses longer than 45 days. If you prepaid for a visit that has not happened, we refund or credit it, your choice. Contract customers follow the cancellation terms in their signed agreement.

• Limit of liability: Outside confirmed, timely-reported damage claims, our liability for any claim is limited to the cost of the service visit in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

• Governing law: These terms follow Florida law. We try to resolve any dispute first by talking directly with our office. If that does not work, legal action is brought in the county where B&D Lawn Maintenance, LLC operates.

Landlords and Rental Properties

Owners and property managers can count on the same dependable service for rentals. Here is how it works.

• Who can book: Either the property owner or a current tenant can request service. Whoever books is responsible for payment.

• Verification: If the owner lives outside our service area, or a tenant books on their own, we ask for the documents listed above before scheduling.

• Trash and debris cleanup: If a yard needs cleanup when we arrive, we text photos to the owner and wait about 10 minutes for a reply. The owner can approve the cleanup by text. Cleanup is quoted by the job from those photos, and haul-away is $80 per truckload.

• If we cannot reach the owner: We decide case by case. If we can safely mow around the debris, we do. If we cannot, we leave the property for that visit and follow up with the owner.

• Pausing service: On rental properties, your locked rate holds for up to 30 consecutive days of paused service. After that, the lock ends and we quote our current rates.

• Add-on services: Pressure washing and other add-on services can be quoted alongside regular lawn service.

Website Terms and Contact

• Contact form: Please allow 24 to 72 business hours for a reply. Sending duplicate messages slows down our sorting and delays your response.

• Browsers: Our site works best in up-to-date versions of Microsoft Edge, Safari, or Firefox, and it is optimized for tablets and phones. We are not responsible for issues or data charges from updating your own devices.

• Find us online: Our official profiles are on Google Search, Facebook, Yelp, and Nextdoor. If you have trouble finding them, tell us through the website's customer support form.

• Updates: We may update our policies and website content at any time.
